1 cup garbanzo beans (soaked 12 hours, then sprouted 24 hours*
4 large garlic cloves
1/3 cup lemon juice
1/3 cup olive oil
3 tbsp. chickpea miso
3 tbsp. tahini
1 tsp dried jalapeno pepper (or fresh jalapeno)
In food processor:
first the garlic and jalapeno.
then garbanzos. then the rest.
for best results, share with friends!
*just put them in a bowl, cover with lots of water (they soak in A LOT of water), then rinse, drain, put back in the bowl, cover with a towel on the counter to sprout
**optional hummus add ins (some non-raw) - jalapenos, artichoke hearts, red bell pepper (roasted or fresh), roasted garlic, roasted sweet potato, roasted pumpkin, dill, walnuts, olives, and the list goes on! Such a healthy snack, you always want to have some on hand!
